Antique Powder Horn, Antique Gunpowder Horn, This antique powder horn was used to fill a Flint lock Musket,Most probably from Pennsylvania. This powder horn has a carved wood end with design and wooden pins holding it to the animal horn. The horn is carved in a leaf and vine pattern which is dark with age. The wooden pour end is also original. This antique American powder horn measures 16 and one half inches from end to end.Dates from the early 19th century.Just in from a Haddam CT estate.

Early 18th century antique powder horn with wood insert, "Antique powder horn". this powder horn is in excellent condition. The bottoom wooden insert is held in by ting wooden pins that are nailed through the horn. This powder horn is very unusual in its size at 4 and one half inches high and 5 inches with what appears to be the original wood stopper. The base measures 2 and three quarters inches across by 1 and five eighths inches deep.The top is wood turned and inset held by tiny nails.

Antique Swords,German Infantry Short Sword model 1848 with Brass and Leather Scabbard. This" German sword" was used essentially by the German Army up through and including the Prussian War of 1871. Blade is marked on the ricasso "PDL" in a dotted circle.. Overall length is 25 inches. The blade is 19 inches long and the scabbard length is 19 and three eighths inches. There are a couple of marks on the blade, otherwise it is in excellent condition. The butt of the handle contains a marking which appears to be a crown above a D.
